Carbon Seal Rings for Railways in Diesel Locomotives
The Carbon seal ring is specially designed and manufactured for mechanical seal to be used in railways for their diesel engines. The oil seal forms a vital component of railway brake system. Manufactured from specially formulated carbon-graphite material with superior physical properties, the carbon ring is machined to close dimensional tolerance and lapped to two light bands. The oil seal itself is manufactured from dimensionally controlled and mechanically tested components, to ensure better than 99.5% performance.
